Our various menu items offer residents a wide array of nutritious meals.  This menu provides an opportunity for people to choose a healthy diet, rich in nutrient rich foods to meet the nutritional requirement of healthy adults. The menus are reviewed by food servings/type and macronutrient content. Specialized diets would need to be individualized.

A sample weekly menu is below:

SUNDAY

Breakfast: Made to Order Breakfast offering: Eggs, **Sausage or **Bacon, WW Toast, Fruit, Oatmeal, Pancakes or Waffles

Lunch: Pot Roast with Beef Gravy, Potatoes and Carrots, Dinner Roll, and Chocolate Cake

Dinner: Chicken Club Sandwich, Steak Fries, Fresh Cut Vegetables, and Ice Cream

MONDAY

Breakfast: Made to Order Breakfast offering: Eggs, **Sausage or **Bacon, WW Toast, Fruit, Oatmeal, Pancakes or Waffles

Lunch: Chicken Ala King, Rice, Dinner Roll, and Fortune Cookie

Dinner: Tomato Bacon Grilled Cheese Sandwich, Tater Tots, Pasta Salad, Coconut Cake

TUESDAY

Breakfast: Made to Order Breakfast offering: Eggs, **Sausage or **Bacon, WW Toast, Fruit, Oatmeal, Pancakes or Waffles

Lunch: Breaded Rainbow Trout, Mashed Potato, Asparagus, Corn Bread, Peach Crumble

Dinner: Sweet and Sour Chicken, White Rice, Asian Vegetable, Brownie Treat

WEDNESDAY

Breakfast: Made to Order Breakfast offering: Eggs, **Sausage or **Bacon, WW Toast, Fruit, Oatmeal, Pancakes or Waffles

Lunch: Breaded Italian Pork Chop, Garlic Mashed Potato, Broccoli, Roll, Butter Scotch Brownie

Dinner: Ruben Sandwich, Cole Slaw Tomato Slices, Lemon Bar

THURSDAY

Breakfast: Made to Order Breakfast offering: Eggs, **Sausage or **Bacon, WW Toast, Fruit, Oatmeal, Pancakes or Waffles

Lunch: Boiled Dinner – Ham, Potato, Carrot, Cabbage, and Onion, Pecan Pie

Dinner: Baked Ziti, Corn, Garlic Bread, Blueberry Fluff

FRIDAY

Breakfast: Made to Order Omelette Friday! Made to Order Breakfast offering: Eggs, **Sausage or **Bacon, WW Toast, Fruit, Oatmeal, Pancakes or Waffles

Lunch: Fried Cod, Baked Potato, Steamed Carrots, Roll, Vanilla Cup Cake

Dinner: Philly Steak Sandwich on a Roll, Waldorf Salad, Chips, Chocolate Cake

SATURDAY

Breakfast: Made to Order Breakfast offering: Eggs, **Sausage or **Bacon, WW Toast, Fruit, Oatmeal, Pancakes or Waffles

Lunch: Pulled Bar-B-Q Pork,Steak Fries, Corn, Texas Toast, Pine Apple Upside Down Cake

Dinner1/2 Ham and Cheese on Rye Sandwich, Celery Sticks, Potato Salad, Angelfood Cake

Snack: Available Upon Request

*Soup is offered at dinner meals

** Denotes high sodium menu item. Those individuals with a sodium restriction should should restrict or limit these items.

All menu items are prepared without added salt.

All menu items listed above can be preparred as a Puree, or “cut up” as required by the resident as a Theriputic Option.

Desserts are offered at Lunch and Dinner. Where possible, Splenda is used as a sugar substitute. A sugarfree baked good / ice cream is always available as an alternate.

Recommendations are based on the new Dietary Guidelines for Americans: Limit calories from added sugar and saturated fats and reduce sodium intake.

Daily offerings should meet at least the following criteria:
6oz of grains (at least half of those being from whole grain)
2 1/2 c of vegetables, 5 1/2 oz of protein, 2 cups of fruit, 3 cups of dairy
